The quality of your pet's photo is crucial to creating a stunning custom portrait at Pet Fiction.

Follow the tips below to ensure the best results:

Lighting: Take your photo in natural daylight or a brightly lit room. Avoid using flash to keep colours natural.

Visibility: Ensure your pet’s entire face and neck are clearly visible and free of shadows. Include any long ears or features that might otherwise be cut off.

Eye Level: Hold the camera at your pet’s eye level, ensuring they are looking directly at the camera for the best results.

Stillness: Capture your pet when they are sitting or standing still to avoid blurriness.

Image Quality: Upload a photo with a minimum resolution of 500px x 500px. Higher quality images will result in a better portrait.

Filters: Avoid using heavy filters so we can accurately capture your pet’s natural colouring.

    What to Avoid:

    • Photos where your pet’s face or neck is partially cut off.
    • Poor lighting or heavy shadows hiding details.
    • Side angles unless you want your pet portrayed in that position.
    • Blurry or out-of-focus images.
    • Pets lying down or partially out of the photo.
